InshaaAllah this is my first post in this blog. Thanks to Mr. Zainal Abidin, our beloved lecture that prepared this medium to all of us. For me it is very helpful to improve more our English writing and communication skill. So, in this entry i will share about global warming issue.

Global warming has become a major problem. One of the major causes of global warming is carbon dioxide emissions. The top 5 develop countries in the world US, Canada, Germany, Britain & Japan are the main contributors of carbon dioxide to atmosphere. This could be due to the fact that these countries are highly industrialized and therefore their industries emit a lot of gases such as carbon dioxide. In comparison among these 5 countries, US produces the highest amount of carbon dioxide, while Japan produces the least. In country like Brazil, up to 2100 tree species are facing extinction while 300 odd plant species in South Africa also facing the same situations. In total, global warming threatens more than 1 million species.
This is just one of the many causes of global warming. So, while humankind has the ability to destroy our earth, in the same time we can also help to protect and sustain it. Global warming is too massive a problem for one person to solve, but we can create positive change by making environmentally-conscious personal choices and inspiring others to take collective action.
